Currently I'm living in Canberra City, Australia - OFFICIALLY the 3rd most boring city in the world...

I am very lucky to have an adoring mother, Janet, a wonderful younger sister, Karen and a daughter, Caitlan.

Our house is practically in the City Centre - you can see the big buildings from our front courtyard.

I have 2 very spoiled dogs, a Shi-Tzu/Maltese called Princess Ruby, and a Pug called Phoebe.

I also collect, buy & sell vintage computers.  My favourite is the Amiga line.  I have an A500+ (I want an A1200!) RIP Amiga...

At the moment I am studying Nursing - this will be my third career.  I have a Bachelor's degree from UNSW and Post-Grad from UNSW & the University of the Philippines as well as a Disability Studies Certificate from CIT.  I've spent many years in the Philippines and regard this as my "true" home.  Namimiss ko ang Pilipinas talaga!  Such a shame that salaries suck there.

Since someone t-boned my Daihatsu Sirion GTVi I've had to replace it.  So I did, with an even smaller car, my Daihatsu Copen.  It's the world's smallest folding hardtop convertible.  And, as such, it's wildly impractical.  There is very little cabin storage.  Roof up the boot is fine.  Put it down & you have is a briefcase sized area for your stuff.  I've had to remove groceries from their bag & put them in one by one.  On the plus side, it's a hoot to drive!  The tiny 700cc turbocharged, intercooled, 16v, twin cam, fuel injected, direct air intake 4 cylinder is as smooth as a turbine and hits the 8500rpm redline easily if you don't pay attention.  Plus I get all sorts of nice comments, my favourite being "What the f*ck is that!?!" at the Summernats cruise.

My maxi-scooter is a Suzuki Burgman 300.  I just upgraded the exhaust...it's bloody loud now!  It has HUGE carrying capacity (it fits all my Nursing stuff just in the top box) but still gives a good run on the freeway and at the traffic lights Grand Prix.  At Mulligans Flat I got 138kmh, tucked low behind the windscreen.  Just couldn't get that last 2kmh before running out of road...

So that's a bit about me...
